Film Submission Categories and Deadlines
Narrative Competition
Films must be feature length narratives 40 minutes or longer. Films must have been completed no earlier than January 1, 2008, unless part of a special section or an exception is made by the festival organizers. The winner receives the Golden Rock, cash prize, and travel accommodations.
Late deadline via Withoutabox- February 15, 2010. Submission fee= $35.
Final extended deadline via Withoutabox- March 15, 2010. Submission fee= $40.
Documentary Competition

Films of all genres that are 39 minutes or shorter. The winner of the Best Short Film will receive an award and travel accommodations.

Best Film “Made in Arkansas”
Films of all lengths and genres made in Arkansas by Arkansas Filmmakers. There is no submission fee for this competition. Winners will receive a cash prize and the Charlie B. Pierce Award for Best Film “Made in Arkansas.”

Best Southern Film Presented by Oxford American Magazine
Oxford American Magazine and the Little Rock Film Festival present the Best Southern Film Award for the top film produced in a Southern state. The winning film that highlights the unique culture of the South will receive an award presented by the Oxford American and travel accommodations.

Arkansas Music Video Competition
The Little Rock Film Festival’s presents the Arkansas Music Video Competition Showcase. The showcase will feature the top music videos selected by local judges working in the industry. The top videos will be screened during the festival with live performances from some of the best talent in film and music in Arkansas. The winner of the Arkansas Music Video Competition will receive an award and the band featured in the video will headline the Arkansas Music Video Showcase.
