The LRFF founders are pleased to announce the creation of the Arkansas Motion Picture Institute (AMPI). The mission of AMPI is:

* To promote the film industry in the state of Arkansas thru education and grant programs for aspiring filmmakers

* To lobby for more out of state film and television productions to utilize the incredible locations and talent that the state of Arkansas has to offer

* To help support and promote film organizations around the state

Chaired in the first year by Arkansas Film Commissioner Christopher Crane, AMPI will consist of a board of prominent members from the business and arts community around the state.
