Big Weekend of LRFF Events with Judge Reinhold Live and an Oscar Winning Documentary
The Little Rock Film Festival is shifting into high gear with weekly programming at our flagship home in the CALS Ron Robinson Theater. If you have not yet checked out our new digs, do so soon, The Ron Robinson Theater is the most technically advanced sound and screen combination in the entire state of Arkansas.
Last week we kicked off our Monthly Music Film Series, which will feature both narrative and documentary music themed films, along with live performances. On Friday night this week, actor Judge Reinhold (Beverly Hills Cop, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Seinfeld) will be in town to host a tribute to his friend and comic legend, the late Harold Ramis. The discussion will take place after a screening of Stripes, the 1981 film they appeared in together, and for which Harold Ramis wrote the screenplay.
On Sunday afternoon we will screen the Academy Award winning documentary 20 Feet from Stardom. This is a film that needs to be screened in the theater; it features the music of the World’s greatest back up singers, and will be absolutely amazing on the Ron Robinson Theater’s killer sound system.
