The 48 Hour Film Project is back!
So you think you can make a film in 48 hours?
If you are the creative out of the box thinker, who loves the adrenaline and thinks it’s possible to round up some friends or like-minded people for a weekend of movie making competition, then look no further. Co-sponsored by the Little Rock Film Festival, the 48HFP returns to Little Rock this August 16th– 18th So register now as they begin accepting early bird registrations.
The 48HFP is a wild and sleepless weekend in which you and your team have to write, shoot, edit and score a movie in just 48 hours. On August 16th, you will be assigned a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre that MUST be included in the movie. Whatever you do in the next 48 hours is upto you. We just need the film submitted to us on Sunday August 18th by 7.30pm. Your film will be screened a local theater (Bank of America Building, 4th Floor, 200W Capitol Ave, Little Rock, AR). The winning film from Little Rock will go up against films from around the world to compete for the title “Best 48 Hour Film of 2013”
Early bird registrations are being accepted. Teams must register on or before Monday, July 22 to avail the special rate of $140. Regular registration is $160. If teams register after Tuesday, August 6 they must pay a rate of $175.
If you do not have a team you can even volunteer for a team. Just enter your name, email and skills/jobs desired HERE and if someone is looking for help they may just call YOU!
