Written and directed by Academy Award Winner Ray McKinnon, “Chrystal” stars Lisa Blount and Billy Bob Thornton. Sixteen years after the accident that claimed his son’s life and permanently injured his wife Chrystal (Lisa Blount), Joe (Billy Bob Thornton) returns home searching for redemption.
Lisa Blount was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas and passed away in 2010 at the age of 53. She got her first big break in 1982 when she played Lynette Pomeroy in “An Officer and a Gentleman”. She won an Academy Award in 2001 for “The Accountant”, which she produced with her husband Ray McKinnon.
