Huge LRFF Week with Argenta Film Series and LR Horror Picture Show Opening

A huge week is coming up in our continued mission to push forward the quality of our year round programming at the Little Rock Film Festival. On Thursday night Feb 16 join LRFF programmer Levi Agee at the Argenta Film Series, for a screening of the narrative feature film The Wise Kids, followed by a discussion with Actress Sadieh Rifai. All Argenta Film Series events begin at 7pm and take place at the Argenta Community Theater. Tickets for The Wise Kids are available here. Following The Wise Kids screening join us for the Pre-Little Rock Horror Picture Show Opening Party at The White Water Tavern. And then this weekend, LRFF programmer, Justin Nickels along with assistant programmer Mike Ledford have put together a World class program of horror genre films for the first annual Little Rock Horror Picture Show All LRHPS screenings take place at the Market Street Cinema. Little Rock Horror Picture Show Line Up & Schedule

The Little Rock Horror Picture Show is a new genre festival of the Little Rock Film Festival.  The Opening Night film is Madison County from Arkansas writer/director Eric England (England and actor/producer Ace Marrero will be on hand for a Q & A session).  The Closing Night film is Neil Marshall’s modern horror classic Dog Soldiers which Squidoo.com named the 47th best film of the 2000s (Producer David E. Love Stalker to play Little Rock Horror Picture Show

Matt Glasson and B. Bowls Maclean’s feature film Love Stalker will show at the Little Rock Horror Picture Show.  The unconventional dark comedy with horror elements also stars co-director Matt Glasson and Rachel Chapman and was shot in and around St. Louis, Missouri. The film tells the story of Pete, a 30-something bar-hopper constantly trolling for women as he falls in love with Stephanie, a relationship advice blogger.  Things are great until Stephanie leaves him and Pete tries to win her back, but in all the wrong ways and everything takes a dark turn.
