Little Rock Horror Picture Show Continues to Add Feature Films

The Little Rock Horror Picture Show is bringing Sennentuntschi: Curse of the Alps to Little Rock by way of Austria.  The film played at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas this past fall. In 1975 in a remote mountain village, a wild woman suddenly appears. She has travelled from Höhenalp, where Alpine herdsmen do unimaginable things to attract women.  It’s an affliction that the village would have rather kept hidden, it’s the beginning of a nightmare filled with madness, hypocrisy, abuse and demonism that threatens to drag the whole village into the abyss.  The film is written and directed by Michael Steiner and stars Roxane Mesquida, Nicholas Ofczarek and Andrea Zogg. Little Rock Horror Picture Show OPENING NIGHT FILM

The Little Rock Film Festival is extremely proud to announce that the Little Rock Horror Picture Show’s Opening Night film will be Madison County from Arkansas native and writer/director Eric England.  The film stars Arkansas native Colley Bailey, as well as Nick Principe, Ace Marrero, Natalie Sheetz, Joanna Sotomura, and Matt Mercer. The film was shot in and around Ozark, Arkansas In the film a group of college kids travel to mountainy Madison County to interview the author of a tell-all book on the accounts of several grisly murders. But when the kids get to Madison County, the author is no where to be found and the locals act like they haven’t seen him in years. They also say that the killer never existed and the murders never happened. However, when the kids start digging around to get their own answers, they find out that the stories maybe more real than the locals are letting on! The film world premiered to a sold out crowd October 17th, 2011 at LA Scream Fest and was the only film to receive an encore screening at the fest. The Holding is a taut thriller with a horror edge fully shot in the United Kingdom.  On an isolated farm in the English countryside, Cassie Naylor kills her husband to protect her daughters from him. Eight months later when a charming drifter shows up her secret comes back to haunt her.
