Shorts and Made in Arkansas Winners Announced

Dozens of festival-goers, filmmakers, and vino-connoisseurs crowded around Little Rock Festival Programmer Jacob LeMaster after having given a very heartfelt introduction to the films in competition at the Crush wine-bar downtown. Flashbulbs popped and glasses tinked as the nominee list for the LRFF best of shorts competition was shown on a large screen. 

The nominees for best short were:
Open Your Eyes
Manual Práctico del Amigo Imaginario (abreviado)
A Night at the Zoo
12 Stones
And the winner…Manual Práctico del Amigo Imaginario (abreviado). Vone Nantharangse accepted the award on behalf of the filmmaker who was in Spain at the time. 
The nominees for the Made in Arkansas Competition were:
Slumberland
Injury Slight…Please Advise
Resurrection County
Home Field Advantage
And the winner…Slumberland. The room erupted with cheers and claps as the three filmmakers: John Schafer, Rhett Brinkley and Zach Turner accepted the award. 
There will be a screening of Slumberland as the Made in Arkansas winner at 3:00 PM at the Riverdale Cinema #7.
