At the star-studded Gala last night at the Clinton Library we had a string of great speakers including Governor Beebe, Attorney General Dustin McDaniel, and of course the accomplished, Phil Donahue who gave a rousing and poignant keynote address. The opening night film That Evening Sun won the Golden Rock as well as the incredible documentary The Way We Get By. Scott Teems and Ray McKinnon accepted the award for the feature category and director Aron Gaudet accepted his statuette for documentaries. The LRFF is proud to have such a great program of films this year as every single film in the fest is of the highest caliber. We thank all of the sponsors, special guests, filmmakers and festival-goers for making the event such a blast.
